"Blueberry Trail"

I sat along blueberry trail

peeling back the layers

of feelings

till I uncovered a memory

of myself,

on my way to the physical.

beyond excited

I had complete and utter confidence

in myself

and my abilities

to do everything I had planned.

I knew the challenges

but I was not afraid.

Now, I do my best to hold onto that memory, to remind myself who I really am, and feel my capable, confident self I begin this adventure with.
