Wet Felted Scarf Making Workshops
March 14th 11am-3pm
Artist Michele Ballantyne is returning to The Oregon Garden to guide you through a wet felting scarf making workshop! You will get to create one multi-colored scarf up to 10 in. wide x 6 ft long that will keep you warm throughout the winter! The workshop experience makes a wonderful Holiday gift for you and a friend or a family member, or create a hand-made product to gift to a loved one.
Materials and tools will be provided, no experience is necessary!
*The materials being used to create the scarf is a soft, cozy, merino wool (18-21 microns).
Michele Ballantyne is coming back to teach you wet felting techniques and guide you through creating your very own work of felt art! Wet felting can be done by anyone and is a fun, creative, interactive way to recreate the world around you in an abstract way. The design can be up to 320 square inches, whether that be in a square, rectangle, or multiple smaller designs. Makes a great gift, or activity! Michele will supply the tools and all the wool for felting in a large of assortment of colors, as well as silk gauze, other decorative fibers, and yarns that can be added then, or later on! You choose your colors and design! Come create beautiful felted wall art for your home!

Mixed Media Floral Collage Workshops
April 4th, 2026 11am-3pm
Immerse yourself in the blooming season of Spring! Join artist Michele Ballantyne to freely create and explore a variety of textures. You will be creating a multi media textured 16″ x 20″ collage using a mixture of paper, materials, acrylics, and stretched canvas! All materials will be provided. No experience needed!
