When learning something new I have been told to “empty my cup” or forget my past so I can learn with fresh eyes and openness.
As I explore the unknown, I experience, wonder, examine, sift, compare, forget my past, and remember my past.
Without absolute capital T Truth and God knowledge, I am feeling my way along, through patches of light and dark, trying to make sense of the world around me, my relationships, and how I choose to fit.
Navigating the physical world with my five senses is not all I have to contend with. I experience unseen realms of light and dark, elation and depression, thoughts both evil and good, influences of both trickery and plainness.
The best thing I have found to guide me is filling myself with light, asking God, or my higher self, or the universe, or the light, what would be the best thing for me right now.
I find connecting to the light helps sweep away the cobwebs of confusion and shows me a better way of thinking, feeling, and being. Explore the light and find truth. Shine the light in the dark places and understand.
