"Explore Nature"

$1,400.00

Explore Nature

The natural world has always attracted me. Even on cloudy or rainy days I would go out and sit, and simply experience the world through my senses.

Walking home from school as a child, when it wasn’t too cold, I preferred to throw back my hood and feel the rain on my head, and walk through the water filled ditches, letting water flood over the tops of my little rubber boots, so I could feel my feet swishing and squishing my watery socks against the bottom of my boots with every step, circulating cold and less cold water between my toes.

My mother never got angry with me, she simply had me change clothes and sit by the furnace to warm up.

In the summer I loved laying in the grass and seeing the world from that perspective. If I was upset, laying in the grass was a sure remedy for my pain. The grass and earth held me and comforted me, and took away my pain.

Explore and connect with nature.
