"Effortless"
In a dream one night, I met a skinny little man with a few bright beads in his long, stringy, grey hair, sitting cross legged on the top of an old defunct washing machine in our back yard.
I noticed in the sky above my house there were hundreds of people making patterns, holding onto each other like synchronized swimmers sometimes do.
I tried to fly up to join them but I couldn’t get off the ground. The little old man said, “You are trying too hard. Just imagine you are there, and you will be. It is effortless.”
I followed his advice. I imagined I was up there with them, in their beautifully colorful clothes, and I was there. I felt so free! I had the power, I just didn’t know it.
