Ginnungagap 3 Ginnungagap is an old Norse word that means, “The Yawning Void”. 80” x 40” $2,400

In meditation I went to the unknown.

It was full of gigantic pink flowers.

Seriously?

I thought –

This is too predictable and likely for me,

so I disappeared the flowers.

Which left emptiness.

So I split myself in half

and in half again,

and continued splitting each me in half

until I was spread out all over the emptiness.

and I loved how that felt.

Yet now,

I also wonder,

how I would have felt

had I immersed myself

in the giant pink flowers

instead.

Dear Friends,

I am at the Roseburg Summer Arts Festival with poison oak on my arms and legs.

Is this revenge for clearing out a bunch of poison oak on my mountain property two weeks ago?

I have never been negatively affected by poison oak before,

but was that because I always left it alone,

having been taught it is a protector of the forest?

I have to wonder about that.

Oh well,

It's all good,

Because now I know what having a poison oak rash feels like.

You're welcome, Jessica ( my daughter who gets poison oak way too easily).
