Day 9 Faberge Hills
I had the privilege of staying on my property in the foot hills of Oregon during the winter one year.
The mornings would dawn with diamond like glittering frost which,
if I got up early,
I could experience the glory of, the moment the sun peeked over the mountains.
The sight lasted only seconds most mornings,
As the ice melted quickly in the warmth of the new day.
Moments like that take my breath away,
leaving me with the memory,
A gift to treasure.

Faberge Hills was created by wet felting merino wool and silk together to form a felted fabric. Once dry, I embellished with beads and stitching. It is very sparkly. Art is 11” x 11”. Framed in a white shadowbox frame.
