What is it about pretty lights that delights us?
Is it that we are drawn to the light itself?
Or are we drawn to the contrast of the light shining in the dark?
Or is it the festive feeling of colored lights?
I always like to put both colored and white lights on my Christmas tree.
The colored lights are what we had when I was a child,
The ones with the big bulbs, not the tiny little ones.
But I also love the tiny little white lights that are so abundant now.
I want to put little lights every where this holiday season.
Big ones, little ones, twinkly ones,
And bask in the glow.
