Day 22 "Brave Little Spider"

Brave Little Spider

I walked along Blueberry Path

Telling al the animals I would not hurt them.

I surrendered to the forest;

I surrendered to peace.

Then along came a little jumping spider,

Hopping from blueberry leaf to blueberry leaf

Towards me.

“Hello,” I said, and held out my hand,

And that little guy made quite a leap of faith!

And in cute little jerks

Made his way up my arm.

Slowly approaching my face.

‘What a sweet little,

Brave little,

Curious little guy,” I thought.

When he reached my shoulder

I said with a giggle,

“Ok now. That’s far enough.”

So the eight legged cutie

Without a pause, took his leave,

With a flying leap to the ground.

Felted merino wool and silk with bead and embroidery embellishments.
