Day 15 "Ring Around the Moon"

$150.00
Sold Out

“Ring Around the Moon”

Growing up in the Willamette Valley in Oregon,

We seldom had snow.

One unique winter we had so much snow

That we got to stay home from school for two weeks!

Each night, we would go out to play on the streets,

Push each other around on our feet

Pretending to be skiing.

The bright snow made the night

Eerily light,

And so quiet.

The moon would look ghostly,

With a ring around it,

And we would cross our fingers

For another snow day.

Felted merino wool and silk.
