Day 20 Decorating the Tree
Our Christmas tree, growing up, was so beautiful.
It may have been due to all the fat, colored lights we used,
and the sometimes new, sometimes recycled silver tinsel,
Because the decorations were a mish mash of old vintage ornaments, paper chains, and the creations we children made in elementary school.
But when we kids were done adorning the tree with all the odds and ends we had gathered over the years,
And once the lights were plugged in,
The tree took on a magnificence that was magical!!!
