"Fly"

I have always felt like we should be able to fly, or levitate and float at least.  Mary Poppins did it.

When I was little, I would jump off the back porch steps with my dad’s big umbrella opened above me, and see if I could slow down my fall.

My brother and I used to jump off a ladder into the snow, seeing how high we could jump from, because it felt so good to be airborne for a moment.  He got as high as jumping from the roof.  I got about half way up before I was too scared.

In my dreams I could fly, but it was more like swimming through jello, and I struggled to figure out how to go faster.

Gather your feathers and fly, above the sharp, prickly, negativity that presses us into the tombs of the living dead. feel the freedom of possibility, and let go of your fear.
